Using dark and fantastical techniques, I freely express what comes up inside me.
幼少期、里山で育ち、自然を謳歌していました。子どもの頃の体験と感触が、今も私の制作に大きな影響を与えています。描く人として生まれた、と自覚したのは５歳のとき。描く、つくるを、まだしています。
偶然できた絵具のしみなど自分の手を離れて出てきたものに面白みを見出し、制作の手がかかりにしています。あえてうまく線を引かないために自作の長い筆を使ったりもして、線から刺激を受け、絵と対話をしているような感覚で制作を進めています。
目指していることは、世界平和・子ども達が自己肯定感を養いのびのび育っていく社会です。
後世の女性作家の一つの指標となるような働きができたら本望です。日々周りの人に助けられながらまだ制作できていることに感謝しています。芸術だからできることがあると信じて日々精進して参ります。
As a child, I grew up in countryside and celebrated nature. The experiences and feelings I had as a child continue to have a profound influence on my artwork to this day. I became aware that I was born to be a painter when I was five years old. I am still painting and creating.
I find it interesting to see things that come out of my hands, such as accidental paint stains, and I use them as the starting point for my work. I sometimes use a long brush of my own making in order not to draw lines well, and I am stimulated by the lines and proceed with my work as if I am having a dialogue with the painting.
What I am aiming for is world peace and a society in which children develop a sense of self-affirmation and grow up freely.
I would be very happy if my work could serve as a benchmark for future generations of female artists. I am grateful that I am still able to create art with the help of the people around me every day. I will continue to devote myself to my work, believing that there are things that can be done only through art.
