岩の背 /Rock back

山の谷間で出会った岩のある風景にひかれて描きました。地中よりあらわれた岩の一角は奥の大地の大きさを想像させる存在感があり、木々や空間に囲まれた、造形の美しさを表現したいと思いました。今も昔も変わらない時間を感じるのは何故なのか。深いところへ旅をさせてくれる、そんな絵を描きたいと思いました。

I was attracted to a rocky landscape I encountered in a mountain valley. I wanted to express the beauty of the formations surrounded by trees and space. Why is it that we feel the same time now as in the past? I wanted to paint a picture that would take us on a journey to a deeper place.
