サボテンをはじめとする多肉植物の形のおもしろさにひかれています。個性を主張しているそれぞれも、集まると全体としてリズム感を生みだし、音楽を奏でています。
我が家には、野良出身のねこ達、作品の発想だけでなくモデルとしてもなくてはならない存在です。
温室のむせかえるような空気や生き生きとしたその『住人』たちを感じていただけるような作品、最後にくすっと笑えるような植物や猫を描ければと思います。
日展入選作品は、大画面(220cm×176cm)ながら細部に至るまで丹精込めて描いた作品です。多くの方にみていただける機会があればと思っています。

I am attracted to the fun of the shapes of succulents such as cacti. Each of them, who insist on their individuality, creates a sense of rhythm as a whole when they get together and plays music. At home, cats from Nora are indispensable not only for the idea of the work but also for the model.
I would like to draw a work that makes you feel the air of the greenhouse, the lively "residents", and finally the plants and cats that make you laugh.
The works selected for the Japan Fine Arts Exhibition are large screens (220 cm x 176 cm), but they are drawn with great care in every detail. I hope there will be an opportunity for many people to see it.
