里山に少し深く入り込んだ時、立ち枯れの紫陽花の群生と出会いました。曲がりくねった茎が、むき出しになった岩と同じように様々な力に抵抗し生き抜いた痕跡としてここに在るように感じました。
 
When I went a little deeper into the satoyama, I came across a cluster of standing hydrangeas. I felt as if the bent stems were here as traces of their survival against various forces, just like the exposed rocks.
